Suzanne Peterson is a visual and performance artist with a BFA from the University of Wisconsin- Madison. She currently resides in Norfolk, VA where she works as an instructor at the Chrysler Glass Studio and a small metals apprentice at Lorak Jewelry. Ms. Peterson has worked nationwide with her work in the permanent collection of the city of Boise, Idaho.

Ms. Peterson has exhibited work at WomanMade gallery in Chicago, Urban Glass in NYC and walked in Laura Donefer’s glass fashion show in Corning, NY. She has been published in vol. 37 of the New Glass Review as well as being the featured artist with Kimberly McKinnis in “Becoming Unburdened”, the January 2017 Third Thursday performance at the Chrysler Museum Glass Studio. Her installation and durational performance work explores the self physically, psychologically, and relationally. Her newest works are experimentally blown forms that attempt to highlight our inability to fully share with one another. She is currently DEVELOPING A BRAND FOR HER PRODUCTION line- "SooZ Swanky wares".
